Hello Stitchers!!!

The time has finally come to have a class at Lynn's Country Cross Stitch. September 20th, 10:00-3:00. We will have the long awaited Peacock Chair class. I have openings for 14 people at $50 each for the class. At this class you will receive your kits, baste the sections and start stitching. On October 25th, 10:00-3:00 we will have a class on the assembly of the chair at $50 each. Please check your calendar and register early.

All of you Lizzie Kate Stitchers, I just had to get this out to you as soon as possible. Let's get those thinking caps going and win some prizes. Joella and Roslyn won a similiar contest with Kitty Kat Kreations.

We're looking for another crazy caption, like "Big Girl Panties" that Linda can design into a new special edition kit. For the next three weeks we'll be accepting entries for favorite phrases that can be designed into a kit. Linda and I will select 15 from all those submitted. Whoever is first to submit one or more of the 15 top phrases will receive a signed copy once it is designed.

In the next three weeks we'll post those 15 phrases for voting. Whoever's caption is selected by voters will win $100 in Lizzie*Kate products to be delivered through the needlework shop of their choice. (We'll supply the product to the shop selected).

A few years ago we had a name the Mrs. Claus contest that eventually became K26 "Flossie Claus." We had hundreds of entries and thousands of votes. …And, quite a bit of fun!

We would appreciate you letting your Lizzie*Kate stitchers know about the contest to see if we can't generate a really great new design.

We are getting a taste of Summer here in North Central Florida but there is a promise of cool weather this weekend. I think Summer is long enough without rushing it. Sorry to you snowbound folks!

March was great with our fabric sale so this month we are going to have an IRS sale. It's one thing to look forward to during taxing times. From April17-21 EVERYTHING in the shop will be 15% off.(excluding special orders and models only). Also on April 14 we are having the Sampler In A Year reunion(10-5). Bring in those Samplers and lets make progress on finishing them up.

I'm very excited about a new line of threads that I will be carrying. They are Valdani solid and overdyed perle cottons. Now you can get all those wonderful colors in perle cotton and they are colorfast!! They should be coming in next week.
